Challenge
Reach Subsea operates uncrewed surface vessels and subsea equipment. Showing that work – where, with what, on which kind of job – is hard on a static page. The goal was an interactive world that runs in the browser without installing anything.
Solution
The world is split into four zones. Clicking a zone flies the camera there, and hotspots open a side panel in the company's branding with text, images and downloads. Panel content is loaded from the client's WordPress site.
Each zone is downloaded as its own package when the visitor gets there, so the whole world never has to be downloaded up front.
