Challenge

Magnus Aircraft's Fusion comes with several engines, propellers and instrument packages, and what is available depends on the certification rules of the destination country. Buyers need a quote without being able to build an invalid configuration, and the manufacturer needs every incoming request in one place.

Solution

The configurator starts with the region and from then on only offers options valid under that certification scheme (DULV, HUN, IT 600, DGAC). At the end the buyer receives a personalised PDF quote by email, and the manufacturer sees the same document as an order in the admin.

The configurator is live at conf.magnusaircraft.com. Since then we have also built the owner portal and the Rust-based magnusaircraft.com for Magnus, and we keep the site running.
